Foundation

The most important part of a building is a strong foundation.

Ours was getting poured today!

After dropping Matthew off as school this morning, I headed out to see if there was anything going on out at the lot before heading to playgroup. I was shocked to see 4 cement mixers lined up ready to pour our foundation. It brought tears to my eyes. I don't know why I was so emotional. I guess just because I totally wasn't expecting it. I really did not think they would have started back up yet. Guess they are as anxious to get this show on the road as we are. Time is money to them.

We are scheduled for the first draw when the Bilco door goes in-TOMORROW!

We are ready to go! Yeah!

One holdup-the weather. Mother Nature chose now to make it cold. Colder than it has been in years here. Go figure.

I am not altogether sure it will hold us up. We were supposed to get a call to have a "pre-dig" meeting out at the lot today. That call never came in. Not yet anyway. We could very well still be on target to dig on Monday. . . . I am just doubting it at this point.

We shall see. At any rate-we plan to go out this weekend and take a "just before it changes" picture in hopes that it truly is "just before it changes".
